For the first public lecture organised by Max Cam in Cambridge, we are welcoming Eva Illouz (Sociology, Hebrew University of Jerusalem) on May 31st at the Winstanley Theatre (Trinity). After international successes with her books on love and intimacy in the contemporary capitalist world (Why Love Hurts: A Sociological Explanation, Cold Intimacies: The Making of Emotional Capitalism), she will present current work on value and sexuality.
